As there is two of them in this situation they have to come to an agreement that they feel abused by you. The problem with this situation is that there is strength in numbers. There are two of them and it may be difficult to woo them back once they have both decided that they have been treated unfairly.
When your live in couple decides they have had enough it is usual because they feel that they are not being paid enough for the numerous jobs they are doing for you. They may feel that you are taking them for granted and expecting then to work overtime for free.
