i really want a job but im not sure if ill be capable of doing things like cleaning bathrooms and dirty bed sheets
im fine cleaning (vacuuming, washing windows, laundry, washing dishes etc)
will it seem strange if i tell people im a housekeeper at an old folks home?
should i apply for the job?
No. I have a house "helper". If she told me in her interview that she didn’t clean toilets I would not even know her name right now. And laundry….you’re okay with that, but not toilets? So puke and blood and other things that happens on sheets that you have to wash you are okay handling that, but toilets are off limits? Come on. Housecleaning is a dirty nasty job. That’s why people are hired to do it.
I’m quite sick of the job I have now. And I have an interview on Saturday as a housekeeper at a local hotel. And I was wondering what people have to say about the job. I don’t really mind cleaning and that sort of stuff - it doesn’t bother me. And they’re offering to pay me 10 an hour and then tips too. It would only be a part time job so I would be working about 25 hours a week.

My cousin does it and she loves it. As far as being hard to do, I don’t know. If you don’t mind cleaning up after other people (which could be a little messy, especially in a hotel…) you should be fine.
I was thinking about applying to a couple of hotels and was so determined to get a job as a housekeeper since they are close to where I live but then I was like omg what if some ugly dumb fuck tries or does rape me since housekeepers sometimes clean rooms by themselves and also are a easy target. But then I was thinking maybe i should carry a taser or pepper spray. Would they let me?Has there ever been cases where housekeepers get rape?
Now what is the name of the hotel that you want to work for. Please share so that I or anyone I know never go there and I’m talking about checking in as customers.

I went to so many staffing Agency because they promise mi a job– are all liars liars liars I don’t trust them nomore,I wasted so much money going back and forward the rison is the charged so much money to the client for this is the reason I dont have a job.
I’m a good at my work and also an excellent Italian cook,I need live-out five days week .
Post an ad on craigslist or put an ad in your local newspaper and most likely you will find someone who needs a cook and housekeeper.
